The Learning and Development Team at Red Star Express, in collaboration with Lagos State Traffic Officials, recently organized a two-day training session for its drivers. The training, delivered by LASTMA and VIO officials, focused on newly introduced traffic rules, road safety issues, basic traffic engineering, and driving regulations. The traffic officials highlighted that the training will improve service quality and benefit the drivers in their daily operations.
Participants shared their experiences, with Ayomide Arowoshafe, Mainland Operations Van Operator, noting the importance of the annual training in enhancing road safety knowledge and renewing LASDRI permits. Fellow drivers, Shina Raji and Tunde Ogunrinde, emphasized the value of compliance with traffic regulations, acknowledging that these sessions reinforce the mindset of safe driving. Mainland Operations Supervisor, Henry Jeriogbe, also expressed gratitude to the Learning and Development team for organizing this year’s essential training.
