Sola Obabori is the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
An astute management professional with long and outstanding Sales and Marketing experience with an Accounting and Finance background. He has traversed different spheres and made landmark contributions in the Logistics and Supply Chain industry in Nigeria.
He joined the services of the organization in 1999 and had served in various management positions; including General Manager/Chief Operating Officer of Red Star Logistics Limited, a subsidiary of Red Star Express Plc before his current responsibility covering Nigeria and three Francophone West African countries.
Sola holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Hons) in Accounting and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, among others. He is an alumnus of several advanced management and leadership programmes from world-class institutions including -The School of Business Leadership of the University of South Africa, McGill Executive Institute, Canada; Lagos Business School, Nigeria; Harvard Business School, USA; Haas Business School of the University of California, Berkeley, USA; The University of Westminster, United Kingdom and FedEx Purple Academy, Belgium where he excelled as the Purple Star Award Winner in 2006.
He is a member of the 2016 FedEx GSP 3 Class, Memphis, USA; a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), the Institute of Business Development and the Courier and Logistics Management Institute (CLMI).

Ukwat, Enobong Victor (fnim, M.IoD)
Victor Ukwat is the Executive Director, Sales and Marketing at Red Star Express Plc.
He is a resourceful professional with a strong expertise in revenue expansion and cost reduction; through building of competitive corporate brands. As an experienced coaching expert, Victor is trained and skilled in the art of unlocking individual potential, as well as that of multinational organizations, to achieve optimal productivity and profitability. He is also passionate about excellent service delivery, building and motivating dynamic teams, and creating revenue opportunities.
Victor joined Red Star Express in 1997 and has, over the years, worked in various capacities. He has previously led teams in Business Development, Key Accounts, National Sales, Operations, Marketing and Corporate Communication.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science (B.Sc) from the University of Calabar, a Masters in Science from the University of Ibadan and a Masters in Business Administration from the Lagos Business School (LBS).
Victor is an alumnus of Senior Entrepreneurship, Management and Leadership Programmes from top global institutions, notably the Columbia Business School in New York, USA, and the SAID Business School in Oxford, England, where he undertook the High Impact Leadership and High Performance Leadership programmes respectively. Other prestigious institutions attended include the FedEx Purple Academy (Brussels, Belgium), IESE Business School (Spain), Harvard Business School (USA), University of Wisconsin (USA), and the Schulich Business School (Toronto, Canada).

Executive Director, Finance and Administration
Babura, Badamasi Auwalu (FCA, M.IoD)
Auwalu Badamasi Babura is the Executive Director, Finance, and Administration of Red Star Express Plc, a listing member of the Nigerian Stock exchange.
An accomplished, versatile, innovative, highly motivated and result oriented financial expert, with proven track records of managing organizational resources and delivering sustainable financial result. Reliable Business Executive with unique competencies in all aspect of finance and accounting, including optimal working capital management.
Auwalu joined Red Star Express in 1994 and has served in various capacities, leading teams in Internal Control and Processes, Credit management, Treasury and Accounts.
Auwalu holds a first Degree in Accounting (B.Sc.) from Bayero University Kano, an MBA in Business Administration (MBA) from the Lagos State University and a Mini MBA from London School of Business and Finance.
He has attended Senior training programs cutting across Controls, Planning, and Leadership amongst others both locally and abroad.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a member of the Institute of Directors (IOD) and an Alumnus of the Lagos Business School Senior Management Program.
Divisional Managing Director, Red Star Logistics
Ejekam, Uche Charles
Charles Uche Ejekam is the Divisional Managing Director of Red Star Logistics; a subsidiary of Red Star Express Plc from April 2019 till date. He previously served as the Divisional Managing Director of Red Star Express; also a subsidiary of Red Star Express Plc, from April 2016 – March 2019.
He has amassed vast experience in Business Development and possesses strong technical knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain, Corporate Communication, Marketing, Learning and Human Capital Development.
Charles started his career in Red Star Express as a Commercial Executive in year 2000. He has, at various points, handled responsibilities in Territorial Management, Key Accounts Management, Marketing, Brand & Public Relations, and Regional Management roles in Lagos and Abuja.
Charles holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka with a Second Class Honours (Upper Division) and a Masters Degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Lagos. He had his Advanced Management Programme (AMP30) in Lagos Business School (LBS) and the International module in IESE Business School (Spain). He has at various times attended Trainings within and outside the country in areas of Leadership, Strategy, Sales and Marketing, Train the Trainer and Key Account Management.
He is a member of the 2016 FedEx GSP 3 class, Memphis, USA and an Associate member of the Institute of Directors (IOD). Preghafi, Tonye Lawrence
Tonye Preghafi is the Divisional Managing Director of Red Star Support Services; a subsidiary of Red Star Express Plc. Before his current appointment, he was the Divisional Managing Director of Red Star Freight, also a subsidiary of Red Star Express Plc (a position he held for 3 years).
He is an accomplished C-level/Senior Management Professional, Learning and Development Consultant and Market Strategy Expert with over two decades laden with multifaceted experience in all aspects of corporate management; including operations, general administration, learning and development, profit & loss oversight, multi-channel product distribution, and marketing. He has consistently demonstrated a penchant for superseding corporate goals.
Tonye Preghafi holds a bachelor’s degree in History from Lagos State University, Ojo, and an MBA from the prestigious Business School Netherlands (BSN). He has attended several management and leadership training programmes within and outside Nigeria and has garnered a unique multi-cultural perspective to workforce behavioural patterns.
He is an Associate of the Institute of Directors (IOD), a member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration. He also currently sits as the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Red Star Foundation.
Chief Operating Officer, Red Star Freight
Mudiaga Okumagba is the Chief Operating Officer of Red Star Freight; a subsidiary under Red Star Express Plc.
He is a renowned authority in Sales and Communications; having served in Nigerian Airways (in Corporate Communications) and United Distellers & Vinters as a Sales Executive.
At Red Star Express, Mudiaga has assumed various key roles within the company over the years; which include as a Commercial Coordinator, Key Account Manager, Assistant General Manager (for Red Star Support Services) and the Head of Group Sales at Red Star Express Plc. He has the distinction of managing 3 of the 4 subsidiaries at Red Star Express Plc at different periods (Red Star Freight, Red Star Support Services, & Red Star Agro Trade Services). He was the Chief Operating Officer of Red Star Agro Trade Services, a business platform under Red Star Express Plc, before assuming his current role.
He is highly experienced in different business core areas, especially Negotiation and Pricing, Business Development, Cost Control, Market Penetration and Operations Management. He has a relentless drive for excellence as well as a strong dedication to employee relations.
Mudiaga holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology from the Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma (formerly known as Bendel State University), and a Masters in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is an Alumnus of the Senior Management Program at the Lagos Business School. He has, at various times, attended Trainings within and outside the country in areas of Leadership, Sales and Marketing, and Key Account Management.
He is also an alumnus of the FedEx GSP 2 Management Development Training, the Bullet Proof Manager Programme by Crestcom as well as the Leadership Institute, Memphis, USA. Mudiaga is also a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration, Nigeria’s national body for credit management.
Chief Operating Officer, RS Allied Solutions
Jayson Oyarekhua is a logistics expert who has worked at Red Star Express for 17 years across multiple professional positions in Operations, Sales and Strategy. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer for RS Allied Solutions Limited, a subsidiary of Red Star Express Plc.
He is a creative and value-driven professional with demonstrated ability to deliver mission-critical results, and create strategic alliances with organization leaders to effectively align with and support key business initiatives.
Between 2014 and 2017, he was Head, Key Accounts and Head, Projects and New Ventures for Red Star Express Plc, spearheading innovative products and services across different economic spheres like Financial, Retail & Trade, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Manufacturing and Aviation.
He also designed and implemented product distribution solutions for shipping clients; with a focus on e-commerce (First & Last-Mile, Cross-Border Shipping and End-End Order Fulfillment), Electronic & Physical Archiving, Address Verification and Enterprise Solutions.
He holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. He has also undergone various logistics and project management trainings from the University of California and University of Westminster. He is also an alumnus of the FedEx Purple Academy, Dubai.
General Manager, International Operations
Inemesit James-Okoro is a multi-lingual international supply chain and operations specialist with over 20 years in the services of the organization. She has served as the Customer Service Manager and later, as Credit Controller before her present office as Head of International Operations. She also has concurrent responsibility covering other branches of the company in three Francophone West African countries.
As the Head of International operations, she has ensured a smooth operation across the company’s operational base in West Africa and strict compliance with regulatory bodies. She is a business expansion specialist with great knowledge of the international logistics industry.
She holds a Masters of Arts Science and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lagos. She is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School. She has also undergone several international trainings both within and outside the country, including the FedEx Purple Academy in Brussels and Dubai.
She is also a fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (ICA).
Deputy General Manager, Domestic Operations and Sales
Kayode Agbe is a thorough-bred professional with a track record of producing, presenting and managing the implementation of innovative business solutions; along with a proven ability to develop people and commercialize all aspects of a business.
Having joined Red Star Express in 2000, Kayode has traversed all major regional locations of the company. He has worked in Benin, Warri, Port Harcourt and other major sales and operational locations, helping to drive revenue and growth, Relationship management and winning new businesses. Prior to his current appointment, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of RSE Prints and Packaging; a business platform under Red Star Express Plc.
As Regional Manager of the North, he was responsible for driving growth, revenue and profit margins for the region. He was later appointed as the pioneer Head of Sales for Red Star Logistics (a subsidiary of Red Star Express) where he was responsible for Sales and Marketing, Project and Performance Management, Strategy and Critical Analysis and Team Building.
He holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Benin. He is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School. He has also undergone trainings in Leadership Development, Interpersonal Skills, Financial Planning and others.
He is a member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), a member of the Institute of Cost Management (ICM), and a Fellow of the Courier and Logistics Management Institute (CLMI).
Company Secretary and Head, Corporate Resources
Akpomuka, Ndidi Frances
Frances Ndidi Akpomuka is the Company Secretary and Head, Corporate Resources for the group.
She graduated with a Law Degree in 1998 from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2000. She began her professional career as an Associate with the Law Firm of Yemi Peters & Associates, where she garnered experience in Litigation, Legal Drafting, Negotiation, Mediation and Conciliation, as well as Corporate and Commercial Law Practice.
Prior to joining Red Star Express in 2006 as Legal Adviser and subsequent appointment as Company Secretary in 2007, she was Legal Officer with Assurance Bank Nigeria Limited for three (3) years.She has attended various training programs on Banking Operations, Fraud and Forgeries, Corporate Governance, Company Direction and Board Effectiveness amongst others.
She is a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association as well as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.
