The Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Red Star Express Plc, Mr. Auwalu Babura, acknowledged the contributions of women across the Red Star Group during the International Women’s Day activities. He noted that women continue to play important roles across different functions of the organisation and commended their commitment, professionalism, and impact on the company’s operations.
Mr. Babura also highlighted the strategic positioning of women within the organisation, from the Board to the management team and across various managerial roles. While noting that the logistics industry can sometimes limit the participation of women due to the nature of the work, he emphasized that Red Star Express has consistently encouraged and supported women to take on key responsibilities, reinforcing the company’s commitment to inclusion and leadership development across all levels.
