RED STAR, ISUZU SET FOR PARTNERSHIP

Red Star Express is set to begin its partnership with foremost Japanese automobile company, Isuzu Motors. This was made evident in a meeting between both companies at the Red Star Express Plc Head Office in Lagos yesterday. The meeting was the latest in a series of discussions between both parties on possible partnership initiatives to be undertaken. Present at this meeting for Red Star Express Plc was the Group Managing Director, Red Star Express Plc, Sola Obabori, Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Auwalu Babura, Assistant General Manager, Administration, Abdulkadir Koguna, and Segun Olayemi (Warehouse Administration Manager).

It should be recalled that Isuzu Motors visited Red Star Express Plc earlier in the year. In March 2018, they were at the Head Office in Lagos. As reported by On-Time News at the time, Isuzu Motors is interested in a partnership that involves the supply of Trucks and other vehicles for the company, especially for Red Star Logistics.
Isuzu is very keen to improve its position to become a dominant auto mobile brand in Nigeria, especially in its core competency in the manufacturing of light trucks. By exploring opportunities like the ones discussed with Red Star Express Plc, it believes such partnerships can only ensure this set objective.
