Wednesday 25th October 2018 is a special date in the distinguished history of Red Star Express Plc as the company appointed Suleiman Barau as the new Chairman on its Board of Directors. Suleiman Barau is one of two new directors appointed to the Board back in August 2018 before assuming his current role.
He takes over from Dr. Mohammed Koguna, who was the company’s Chairman for 26 years, dating back to when the company was established in 1992. Dr. Koguna, along with many figures associated with Red Star Express Plc over the years, has been instrumental in the company’s rise from being just a courier company to being a holistic logistics provider. His efforts to ensure the company’s growth and development, over the last 26 years, will always serve as the benchmark for future chairmen at Red Star Express Plc.
In his remarks after his new appointment was announced, Suleiman Barau spoke of his excitement to work on the Board as its Chairman and expressed gratitude to the Directors for placing their faith in him with this appointment.
