Job Requirements
  • Evaluate the general operations of the Company for areas of weakness and suggest possible controls to be put in place where necessary and check for compliance with the Company’s policies, objectives and goals.

  • Drive the Quality and Service Assurance activities across the Group towards efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Review the internal control processes through the development of an Annual Audit Program Group-wide.

  • Provide Assurance to the Audit Committee on a quarterly basis and perform adhoc investigation and periodic reviews.

  • Evaluate and monitor cash banking remittance procedures Group-wide

Personal Requirements

  • Ability to provide dynamic, confident and motivational leadership to a high performing team

  • Ability to communicate and manage relationships at all levels across the business.

  • Strategic thinker.

  • Problem solving, troubleshooting, Organizing, prioritizing and multitasking skills.

  • Thorough understanding of Risk Management, principles and application.

  • Accounting experience.

  • Project management skills to effectively plan, execute and report.

  • A deep understanding of Red Star Express Plc products and Services

  • Regulatory knowledge with a thorough understanding of local laws in relation to the industry as well as accounting and reporting standards

  • Data analytics.

Educational Qualification / Experience
  • B.Sc / HND in relevant field

  • M.Sc / MBA (added advantage)

  • ACA/ACCA certification

  • At least 10 years’ experience in relevant field

  • Other professional qualifications as an added advantage.
